Frequently Asked Questions

What documents will I need for the cruise ship?

A valid passport that does not expire six months before or after the cruise. Please make sure all cruise documents match the name on your passport. You will not be allowed to board the cruise ship. No exceptions.

Can I purchase travel insurance?

Absolutely yes. While it is not required, travel insurance is highly recommended. Travel insurance can be added to your trip through Leisure Care when booking your cruise. Please see this page for more information on travel insurance.

What restaurants are included in the price of my cruise?

Complementary dining will be found at the Main Dining Room, Oceanview Café, Mast Grill, and Spa Café.

Where will meals be held?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available in the Main Dining and Oceanview Café. We have a group dinner reservation nightly at 6 PM in the Main Dining Room. Feel free to join our nightly reservation or have dinner on your own at one of the complimentary venues or try out one of the several Specialty Restaurant offerings. Reservations are required, and a separate charge will be incurred for specialty restaurants. Additionally, there will be a group specialty dinner at Qsine at a time and day TBD.

Where are classes held?

Classes will be held in the Engage Conference Room located on Deck 14.

What do we do when we first arrive on board?

Once on board, feel free to explore the ship. You may head to your stateroom, but only to get your SeaPass. Your state room will not be ready until announced by the crew. Also, follow instructions on how and where to check into your Muster Station.

What is a SeaPass?

Your SeaPass will serve as your onboard ID, your room key, and your form of payment. It will serve as your “money“ while ordering your drinks. Anything not covered will appear as a charge on your account. To sum things up, you will keep this card with you at all times during the cruise.

How will Create and Cruise attendees find each other?

If we have not already met before getting on board, we will all meet from 3 to 4 PM at the Engage Conference Room located on Deck 14. This is where you will check in with the Create and Cruise team. At this time, you will also receive your class supplies and Create and Cruise merch!

Are shore excursions included?

While shore excursions are not included, they are a great way to see new places! Feel free to book a shore excursion. Your art schedule allows for exploration at each port as classes are held on Sea Days.

What should I wear and pack?

Comfort and packable clothes are key! No steamers or irons allowed. Celebrity does have a daily relaxed dress code known as “Casual Chic“. “Smart Casual” is the required attire for the Main Room and Specialty Dining. “Evening Chic” is Celebrity‘s version of formal attire. This is where you can dress to impress. If you do not wish to participate in Evening Chic, please follow the guidelines for Smart Casual on those nights. For any pool days or beach excursions, be sure to pack a swimsuit, hat, sunglasses, and cover-up. For more detailed descriptions on what to wear, please visit this page. Also, feel free to reach out to us with any questions on the topic.

Can I arrive to Fort Lauderdale the morning of the cruise?

It is highly recommended to get there at least one day before the cruise. Particularly when flying. One thing a ship will not do is wait for you!
